Pixel art started as a hobby for me because it brings a sense of nostalgia. From this passion, I began exploring ways to turn it into a business. In 2022, I took the leap and launched my first online service business on a marketplace platform, and it wasn’t long before I gained many clients through this hobby-turned-business.

Starting
When I first started my business, I was still unfamiliar with pixel design applications, so I did a lot of research to find the apps that suited me best. Thanks to my first client, I was able to recognize my weaknesses and gather feedback on what I needed to improve.
Managing
What started as just a hobby suddenly turned into a flood of orders, so I began looking for ways to manage my time and clients more effectively. I focused on understanding their needs clearly to minimize the need for revisions.
Collaborating
As the number of orders and clients grew, I decided to bring a friend on board to form a small team. This way, we could ensure all client projects were completed successfully.
Outcome
Many clients were very pleased with my work and became loyal customers for several years. This experience taught me how to manage clients effectively, communicate clearly, and negotiate with people from different backgrounds.
